Power Controller - Model 183 Additional Information
Many assembly operations require a constant flow of parts. Often the parts are placed into a vibratory hopper that feeds a vibratory bowl on a demand basis. The bowl then orients the parts according to the requirements of the assembly process and directs them out of the bowl. The parts are then sent into the assembly workspace by gravity or sometimes by an inline vibratory feeder. SVI has built the controllers for all these vibratory devices for many years.

- Supplies full-wave or half-wave power with 1% precision
- Has programmable electronic circuit breaker plus backup fuse
- Has an ENABLE input for remote activation
- Has a RELAY output for system control
- All I/O are optically isolated and fully bipolar
- Uses a full color graphic touchscreen to operate
- Has adjustable ramp rate (aka "soft start")
- Can compensate for line voltage sag or rise
- Has programmable timers for fill-switch filtering
- Contains no inside-the-box controls or settings
- A programmable key code can be used to lockout unauthorized changes
- Will perform self-exam diagnoses on command
- Units can be ganged to form compact systems
