Air-to-Electric Converter
This air gauging module converts the differential pressure derived from a pneumatic measuring system into an analog electrical signal. Thus, distances can be measured to around 1 µm precision. Most air gauging systems employ several of these converters simultaneously.

Air-to-Electric Converter Features
- Input power: 24 Vdc
- Supplied with bi-colored LED for visual status/error indication
- Performs a system self-test upon power-up
- Checks for minimum system pressure
- Single- or dual-scale pressure range
- Output signal 1 to 10 V (0 V indicates error)
- Output signal 4 to 20 mA (0 mA indicates error)
- Output signals can withstand a short circuit indefinitely
- Output signal is bounded when output is saturated beyond ±full scale (or not)
- Factory electrical testing and calibration accommodated through an onboard socket
- All calibrations stored in nonvolatile memory
- All units are bubble tested for leaks
